LinkedIn carousel guides
Everything this site has on LinkedIn carousels, in the order you need it: what to write, how to design it, how to check and post the PDF, and how to get it read. With the free tools for each step.
Start here
New to LinkedIn carousels? Begin with the full LinkedIn carousel guide: how to make one and post it. Then how to design it to spec, and the size to make it.
Four things every guide here comes back to
The basics of a LinkedIn carousel, each with the guide or free tool that goes deeper.
It’s a PDF
You upload it with Add a document, and LinkedIn shows one page at a time. The step-by-step guide has every click.
Make it 4:5
Portrait is the biggest size in the feed; square works too. Check your slides’ size.
Slide one does the work
Twelve words or fewer, and a reason to swipe. First lines to borrow.
Hook first in the caption too
LinkedIn shows about three lines before “…more”. See where yours cuts.
Write it
Finding something to say, the first line that earns the swipe, the slides and the caption. And the writers that draft them with you, from one sentence.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I start if I’ve never made a LinkedIn carousel?
Start with the guide to posting a carousel on LinkedIn, under Start here: it covers the PDF, every click to post it, and what to do when it goes wrong. Then read the design tips, and check your file with the free PDF checker before it goes up.
Can aiCarousels post my carousel to LinkedIn?
Yes, to your own LinkedIn profile, from the editor, with your caption and a document title. Company pages aren’t offered: download the PDF and post it there yourself. Posting comes with Pro and Team.
Which sizes can I pick for LinkedIn in aiCarousels?
4:5 portrait, the recommended one because it’s the biggest in the feed, or 1:1 square. The free LinkedIn size checker tells you whether a file you made somewhere else fits.
What if my carousel doesn’t post as a carousel?
Usually it went up as photos instead of a PDF, or the pages are landscape. The fixes are in the LinkedIn guide’s “when it goes wrong” list, and the free PDF checker shows the page size and file size before you post.
