How to post multiple photos on LinkedIn from a computer
- Click Start a post At the top of your feed on linkedin.com.
- Click the photo icon It opens your computer’s files (some screens call it Upload from computer).
- Select all your photos at once Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and click each one, then open them. You can add up to 20.
- Edit, tag and add alt text Before you go on, you can crop a photo, tag people, and add alt text so people using screen readers know what each picture shows. Check the order: put your best photo first.
- Click Next, write your text and post Say what the photos are and why they matter, then click Post. LinkedIn’s clock icon lets you schedule it for later instead.
How to post multiple photos on LinkedIn from your phone
- Tap Post The plus sign in the bar at the bottom of the app.
- Tap the photo icon and select several Tap each picture you want, in the order you want them.
- Tap Next, write your text and tap Post Open the post afterwards to check how the grid looks.

Multiple photos or a carousel?
LinkedIn stopped offering image carousels for regular posts in June 2023. Since then, several pictures make a grid, and a carousel people swipe page by page is a PDF posted as a document. They do different jobs:

If your pictures are photos of real moments, post them as photos. If they’re slides with words people read in order, make them one PDF and post a document: in a grid, slide 4 can end up before slide 2, and the words come out small. Posting a single designed picture instead, like a quote or a big number? That is an image post.
Make the pictures in aiCarousels

For slides: make a carousel and post it as a document
Type your idea on Home, choose LinkedIn at 4:5 and press Generate. Then click Post to LinkedIn, set the Document title and click Post now. It lands on your personal profile as a carousel people swipe.

For one picture: make an image post
Click the Image post tab on Home and type what the image should say. You get several designs of the same idea, each in a different layout that fits what you wrote, and keep the one you like. Download it as a PNG, or post it with Post to LinkedIn.

Want the slides as separate pictures anyway?
Click the arrow next to Download PDF and choose Images (PNG): a full-quality picture of each slide, numbered in order. Upload them with the photo icon as above.

Tips for a LinkedIn post with several photos
- Put the strongest photo first. It leads the grid and sets its layout.
- Keep it to a handful. You can add 20, but a grid only shows a few before the rest hide behind a counter.
- Add alt text. One line per photo on what it shows.
- Tag the people in them, so they know they’re in it.
- Say why it matters in the first line. The photos show what happened; the text says why anyone should care.
