How to preview your LinkedIn company page
- Add your cover image and logo. Or “Try a sample” to see how it works first.
- Write the page name and tagline. The counters follow LinkedIn’s limits: 120 characters for the tagline.
- Write the overview. See where “see more” cuts it, after about three lines.
- Add your industry, location, followers and company size. They show under the tagline.
- Add page posts (carousels or images), check phone and desktop, light and dark, and download the preview.
Your page stays in this browser. The pictures are read on your device and never uploaded.
Cover image and logo
The cover is a wide 6:1 strip, and phones crop it more than computers. The logo is a square over its bottom left. Keep the cover’s words in the middle, and give the logo some space inside its square so it doesn’t touch the edges.
LinkedIn company page sizes and limits (2026)
| What | Size or limit |
|---|---|
| Cover image | 4200 × 700 px recommended (at least 1128 × 191) |
| Logo | 400 × 400 px, shown as a square |
| Tagline | Up to 120 characters |
| Overview | Up to 2,000 characters; about 3 lines show before “see more” |
Tips for a company page people follow
- Make the tagline a promise. What you do and for whom, in one line.
- Lead the overview with the point. The first three lines are all most people read.
- Post carousels. Document posts are read slide by slide and show what the company knows.
