Terms and Privacy
Last updated: 7 October 2026. These apply to the aiCarousels website (www.aicarousels.com), the aiCarousels app (www.aicarousels.com/app), the aiCarousels Android app on Google Play and the aiCarousels browser extension.
Terms of Service
aiCarousels is operated by aiCarousels AB (Org. No. 559500-7005), Stora Varvsgatan 17B, 211 75 Malmö, Sweden ("aiCarousels", "we", "us"). By using aiCarousels you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you keep any mandatory consumer rights of your country; nothing in these terms limits rights that can't be limited by law.
1. The service
aiCarousels helps you create social media content such as carousels, posts, images and videos, with an editor and optional AI assistance. Some features are free; others need a paid plan. We may add, change or remove features over time.
2. Your account
You need an account for some features. Keep your login details safe and tell us if you think someone else has access to your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
3. Plans, billing and cancelling
- Paid plans (Pro and Team) are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Prices are shown before you buy and may include or exclude taxes depending on where you live. We may change prices for future billing periods and will tell you before a change applies to you.
- Payments are handled by Outseta and its payment processor (Stripe). Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn't refund the current period.
- Refunds and right of withdrawal: aiCarousels is a digital service with immediate access to paid features. If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases; by buying a paid plan and asking for immediate access, you agree that the service starts right away and, where the law allows, you lose that right once it has started. Payments are therefore not refundable, including for forgetting to cancel, unused time or yearly plans, except for accidental duplicate charges, proven billing errors on our side, or where the law requires a refund. Please report any billing problem within 7 days of the charge.
- Chargebacks: please contact us first. If a chargeback is opened without trying to resolve it with us, we may suspend the account, and we may share account and billing records with the payment processor to answer the dispute.
- Each plan includes monthly allowances (for example, a number of AI carousels and AI pictures). Unused allowances don't carry over. To keep the service fair, we may limit use that is far beyond normal use of a plan.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you create or upload. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you (for example, to save your projects and to send your text to our AI providers when you ask for AI help). You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, including pictures, videos, logos and other people's posts you save for inspiration.
5. AI features
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to content created for other users. Review it before you publish it. You're responsible for what you publish. Don't use AI features to create content that is illegal, misleading, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that infringes other people's rights.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, bypass limits or security, scrape it, resell it without our permission, create accounts in bulk, or use it to send spam. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
7. Other platforms
aiCarousels can connect to or work alongside other services (for example LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. aiCarousels is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. When you save posts from other people for inspiration, respect their rights: use them to learn and to create your own work, not to copy it.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep aiCarousels available and your work safe, but we can't promise the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. On the free plan, projects are kept in your browser, so clearing your browser data can delete them.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or EUR 100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be limited.
10. Ending
You can stop using aiCarousels and close your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service; if we stop the service, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use aiCarousels after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory rights and courts of your country of residence. Otherwise, the courts of Stockholm, Sweden have exclusive jurisdiction.

Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run aiCarousels. They process data on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Outseta: accounts, sign-in, subscriptions and service emails, with Stripe for payments.
- Rewardful: affiliate and referral tracking, if you arrive through a partner's link.
- OpenAI: to generate text and pictures and to transcribe audio when you use AI features. Under OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train their models.
- Supadata: to read the captions of a YouTube video you choose as a source.
- Cloudflare: network delivery and security, the human check on our free try (Turnstile), and storage of Pro and Team pictures.
- Google: Google Play and Chrome, to deliver and run the Android app (see Android app).
- Pexels and Vecteezy: to search stock photos and clips; only your search words are sent.
- LinkedIn: only if you connect it, to publish the posts you choose.
- GoDaddy: our servers and database.
We may also share data if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy keeps applying to your data).
Cookies and browser storage
We use only what the service needs:
- Your sign-in session (kept in your browser's storage).
aic_lang: the app language you picked.aic_did: a random identifier for your browser, used to prevent abuse of free features.aic_try: a short-lived ticket for the free try from our website (15 minutes).- Your projects, pictures and preferences in your browser's own storage.
Our providers may set their own cookies for their part of the service: Outseta and Stripe (sign-in and payments), Rewardful (affiliate attribution) and Cloudflare (security). We don't use advertising cookies. Where the law requires it, we ask for consent before using cookies that aren't necessary. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential ones can stop the service from working.
How long we keep it
- Account and content: while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your content within 30 days, except what we must keep by law (for example invoices).
- Pictures saved for Pro and Team: removed automatically when no project uses them anymore.
- Scheduled LinkedIn posts: their files are deleted once they've been posted or cancelled.
- Usage and security records: as long as needed for limits and security, typically up to 12 months.
Where it's stored
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Deleting your account: follow the steps on Delete your account. It works the same whether you use aiCarousels on the website or in the Android app. We delete your account and its data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
Children
aiCarousels isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they apply.
Android app
The aiCarousels app on Google Play (package com.aicarousels.app) opens the aiCarousels app (www.aicarousels.com/app) in a secure, full-screen Chrome window, a technology called Trusted Web Activity. It is the same service with the same account, so the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy above apply to it in full.
- No extra data. The Android app doesn't collect anything beyond what is described in this Privacy Policy. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and it doesn't read your contacts, location, call logs or other apps.
- Permissions. The app only needs internet access. If you use a feature that needs a picture, a file or your microphone, Android or Chrome asks your permission first, and only what you choose is used. Notifications are off.
- Storage on your phone. Your sign-in, your preferences and, on Guest and Free, your projects and pictures are kept in the app's storage on your phone. Go to Settings → Apps → aiCarousels → Storage → Clear storage to remove them, or uninstall the app.
- Google. Google Play delivers the app and Chrome runs it. Google processes data such as downloads, updates and crash reports under the Google Privacy Policy. From Google Play we only receive statistics that don't identify you, such as install counts and crash reports.
- Purchases. The Android app has no in-app purchases. Plans are managed on our website.
- Age. On Google Play, the app is for adults (18 and over).
- Deleting your account and data: see Delete your account.
Browser extension
The aiCarousels extension for Chrome lets you save posts from LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok to Inspiration in aiCarousels.
- It only acts when you ask. A post is read when you use the aiCarousels right-click menu. On LinkedIn, the post under your pointer is also checked so the menu can say what it will save; nothing is kept or sent anywhere from that check.
- What it saves: the post you choose: its text, its images (for a video, its cover picture), the author's name as shown on the post, and the post's address.
- Where it goes: saves are stored in your browser, in the extension's own storage, until you open aiCarousels. The aiCarousels app then imports them into Inspiration, which is also kept in your browser.
- Who it talks to: only the site you're saving from (to download the images of the post you chose) and aiCarousels pages. It has no server of its own, no analytics, no ads and no remote code.
- Removing data: remove saves from the extension's popup or from Inspiration, or uninstall the extension to delete everything it stored.
The extension's use of information follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
