Twitter/X Profile Preview Tool

See your Twitter/X profile before you publish it: header, profile picture, name, bio, location, link and your pinned post, on a phone and on a computer, light or dark. Free, no sign-up, and nothing is uploaded.

How to preview your X profile

  1. Add your header and profile picture. Or “Try a sample” to see how it works first.
  2. Write your name, username and bio. The counters follow X’s limits: 50 characters for the name, 160 for the bio.
  3. Add location, website and your numbers. They show under the bio, as on X.
  4. Add posts. Write a few, add an image, and mark one as pinned to see it at the top of your profile.
  5. Check phone and desktop, light and dark, and download the preview as a picture.

Your profile stays in this browser. The pictures are read on your device and never uploaded.

X places your profile picture over the bottom left of the header. Text or a face in that corner gets covered, on phones even more than on computers. Put the important part of the header in the middle or on the right, and check it here on both.

The header is 3:1. A picture of another shape is cropped to fit, and the checks tell you when that happens.

Your pinned post is your first impression

People who open your profile often read the bio and the pinned post, then decide. A good pinned post says what you share and shows it: a thread of your best ideas, or a post with images. Posts with several images are the easiest to stop at, and the preview shows where yours would go.

  • Say who it’s for in the bio. One line about what you post, one about why it helps.
  • Use the website field. It sits under your bio: point it at the next step.
  • Keep the header simple. One line of text, in the middle, big enough to read on a phone.

What’s free, and what the app adds

This preview is free, with no account and no limit. To make the post you pin, aiCarousels designs a set of images from one idea, in your style, ready to post on X.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a Twitter profile preview or an X profile preview?

Both. The platform is called X now, but the profile is the same: header, picture, bio and posts.

Is it free?

Yes. Free, with no sign-up and no limit. Your profile is kept in this browser.

Can I preview a tweet or a pinned post?

Yes. Add posts with text and an image, and pin one: it shows at the top of your posts, as on X.

Can I check my profile picture and header together?

Yes. That’s the point: the picture covers part of the header, so check them side by side on a phone and on a computer.

How long can my X bio be?

160 characters. The counter turns red past that and the checks tell you.

Are my pictures uploaded?

No. They stay on your device, in this browser’s storage.

Can I download the preview?

Yes, as a PNG of the phone or the desktop view.
