How to preview your TikTok profile
- Fill in your profile. Picture, name, username, bio and link. The counters follow TikTok’s limits.
- Add your video covers. Drop in the covers of the videos you’ll post next, or start from the sample.
- Mark photo carousels and pin up to three. Pinned videos get the red label and stay first.
- Choose what the grid shows of each cover, and check it in light and dark mode.
Your profile and your plan stay in this browser and are shared with the TikTok feed planner.
What the grid shows of your videos
Videos are 9:16, but the profile grid shows about the middle 3:4 of each cover, with the view count over the bottom left. Text near the top or the bottom of a cover is cut off in the grid. Keep the words of your cover in the middle, and check here before you post.

A profile people follow
- Say what you post in the bio. 80 characters is one clear sentence.
- Pin your best three. They’re the first thing new visitors watch.
- Make covers that look related. The same font and two or three colours turn a grid into a channel.
- Mix in photo carousels. They get swiped, saved and shared, and they’re quick to make.
