How to preview your Bluesky profile
- Add your banner and avatar. Or “Try a sample” to see how it works first.
- Write your display name, handle and bio. The counters follow Bluesky’s limits: 64 characters for the name, 256 for the bio.
- Add your followers and following. They show under your handle.
- Add posts. Write a few, add an image, pin one.
- Check phone and desktop, light and dark, and download the preview as a picture.
Your profile stays in this browser. The pictures are read on your device and never uploaded.
The banner and the avatar work together
The banner is 3:1 and your avatar covers its bottom left. Keep words and faces away from that corner. Your handle is a domain: yourname.bsky.social, or your own website if you set one up.
